Do the rings get hot enough to burn my scalp?

Our product has Anti- Scald Design which allows you to enjoy straightening worry-free from burning & shocking. The patented V-shape flame-retardant plastic frame will protect you from every angle. You can literally put our product on scalp and feel nothing.

I am not sure if this will work for my hair?

Our device has 5 heat settings (266℉ - 410℉), which are easily selectable and can be adjusted to individual needs. No matter what hair type you have, even the thick and frizzy locks, you can always find the right setting to tame it. Allow the device to heat up while you prep your hair.

I am concerned that this will damage my hair?

This is a valid concern as a lot of hair tools in our price range typically over heat. This is certainly not a power hungry device, so this is unlikely and here is why; Our device uses PTC heating, which essentially prioritises the health of your hair by even heat distribution self regulation. It has no iron components at all, and it has controlled heat settings.

Does this work with wet hair too?

We don't recommend to use it on wet hair, because it would hurt hair when its cuticle is open on wet state. We suggest blow drying before use.

Do we simply straighten our hair with this straightening brush like a regular straightener?

The device is fundementally different, so there is a slight learning curve. Below are our basic recommendations:

How do I clean the device?

To clean the My Silky Hair Ring, simply use a soft brush or cloth to remove any hair or debris from the rings. Do not use water or any cleaning solution on the device.
